Dissemination Plan

For my final project I have no major plans to sell it or monetize it in anyway as it was something I wanted to build and you can just buy Better AI assitants like Alexa or Google.

License Choice

I have chosen the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license for this project.

Why This License?

Share: Others can use and distribute the work.
Adapt: They can remix, build upon, or use it commercially.
Attribution: Credit must be given to the original author.
ShareAlike: Derivatives must use the same license.

Types of IP Relevant to This Project

Copyright: Protects the software code and documentation.
Patent: Could apply to any novel hardware designs, but I am not pursuing this.
Trademark: Not applicable here since no branding is being developed.

All hardware designs, firmware, and supporting materials are released under the same open license (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Future Development

Add something like rasbery pi 4 so everything needed is in the device and it doesn't need to connect to the web for AI chatbot.
Make the design modular so users can upgrade features
Support multiple languages
Expand functionality with additional smart integrations

Income and Business Model

This project will be released as completely free and open-source, allowing anyone to build, modify, and share it without cost.

Possible Revenue Streams

Paid Educational Course: Offering structured lessons, detailed guides, and personal support for learners who want a step-by-step experience beyond the free materials.
YouTube Tutorials: Creating video content to help makers build the project, potentially monetized through ad revenue or sponsorships.
Workshops and Community Events: Hosting in-person or online workshops where participants pay for guided instruction and hands-on help.

However, all core design files, code, and documentation will remain freely accessible under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0) license to encourage open collaboration.
